Looking for a deal on a television for your bedroom, cottage, children's den or even your living room?

Well today we're going to let you in on a bit of a secret that not many people are aware of.

Believe it or not, Kawartha TV and Stereo sells "not new" televisions.

You're probably wondering what a "not new" television is.

When we mention this to customers, they automatically assume that we are talking about either a used television or a pre-owned model?

Not exactly.

First let us state that no Kawartha TV and Stereo does not take televisions on trade in.

So where do these televisions come from then? Let us explain.

Kawartha sells an enormous volume of televisions each year, and periodically a television will have an issue.

When people bring them back, we often end up with various parts.

Sooner or later we eventually end up with the perfect combination of parts between the same model which will allows us to match components from one television to another and end up with a perfectly functioning television.

When this happens, we offer them to the public as "not new" televisions at extreme discounts. So perhaps the ideal term for these televisions is "refurbished".

The sizes, brands and models of televisions we have can vary wildly, but we often have televisions from 32 inches to 75 inches.

How much of an extreme discount do you get on a refurbished or not new television you're probably wondering?

In many cases we will price them at half of their original price or even lower!

Now while these TV's will work perfectly fine (we test them to ensure this) and Kawartha offers a 30-day repair or refund on all of these used televisions, there is still a downside to this.

We can't control what our inventory is, and not surprisingly these televisions sell fast! We never know when we’ll have the perfect complement of television parts to make a functioning television, so it's kind of a hit or miss thing for people.

So, if you're looking for a deal on a perfectly good (albeit not brand-new television) reach out to us regularly.

So, while it is definitely a game of timing, if you're in the market for a great deal on a television check in with us regularly.
