From the moment an item is placed into our inventory and onto our floor or website it is priced to offer the best value possible to our customers.
But even with that, occasionally some things need to be reduced even further to move.
Why? There is no shortage of reasons.
Like any retailer, sometimes we get a bit ambitious on our inventory levels and order too much of a given product.
Sometimes a competing product enters the market at a lower price and necessitates that prices need to be reduced.
It could also be due to damaged packaging, B-stock merchandise, opened boxes, re-certified, used, refurbished products as some examples.
So, like we said, there can be endless reasons for products to find their way into our clearance center.
There is no one specific product or category that typically ends up there. Basically, anything we sell could potentially be found there. Depending upon the day you might find televisions, speakers, phones, cameras, vacuums and more!
Now for the question you're probably wondering. How much of a discount is there?
Impossible to say.
Everything in our clearance center is has gone from our great initial pricing to "we want this gone" pricing, so we are talking about substantial discounts.
As an example, discounts as we write this range from televisions that are discounted by thousands (yes $1,000's) of dollars to portable mini wireless speakers reduced by $20.
